Welcome
On behalf of the Chaplain’s Office and Conservatory of Music at Wheaton College, I am thrilled to host you for the Annual Meeting of SCSM on Wheaton’s Campus. Wheaton College has recently opened a new 90,000 sq. ft, purpose-built music and arts facility, including a 650-seat concert hall and dedicated choral rehearsal room, both with outstanding acoustics. This facility, Armerding Center for Music and the Arts, is where the conference will take place. It is my pleasure to welcome you, along with our keynote speaker, Dr. Braxton Shelley, and our community hymn-sing leader, Dr. James Abbington to this year’s Annual Meeting.

Hotel Accommodations:
A conference block has been reserved at The Crowne Plaza Hotel Glen Ellyn/Lombard (1250 Roosevelt Rd, Glen Ellyn, IL, 60137, US), and reservations can be made using this link. Shuttle service will be provided by this hotel, only.
If you would like to search for other accommodations based on your preferences, you are welcome to use this link which will allow you to receive a small discount through Wheaton College’s Travel portal as a Wheaton visitor.
Travel
Wheaton College can be accessed by two airports: Chicago O’Hare (ORD) and Chicago Midway (MDW). Though Chicago O’Hare is closer to Wheaton, the difference between the two commute times to Wheaton is about 10 – 15 minutes.
